Fees
This is a private practice, intended primarily for privately insured patients, those entitled to public-sector medical allowance (Beihilfe), and self-paying clients. Statutory health insurers generally do not cover the cost of treatment in a private practice. In exceptional cases, costs may be covered under the reimbursement procedure (Kostenerstattungsverfahren).
How fees are determined
All medical treatment services are billed bindingly according to the German Scale of Fees for Physicians (Gebührenordnung für Ärzte, GOÄ) in the form provided for psychotherapists (GOP). This applies equally to privately insured patients, those entitled to public-sector medical allowance, patients under the reimbursement procedure, and self-paying clients, provided the service constitutes medical treatment. Separate fee agreements apply to coaching and counselling without the character of medical treatment. If you are interested, please contact me with your concern and I will send you the details of the fee arrangement.
Please clarify with your private health insurer or allowance office, before treatment begins, whether and to what extent the costs of psychotherapy will be covered. Any portion of the costs not covered by your insurer is to be borne by you.
